The Belfry Hotel & Resort, located in North Warwickshire, is celebrating a multitude of award wins this month with Sales Director, Katie Niland, who received the Unsung Hero Award at The Boutique Hotelier Awards and Kirsten Price, Head of People, who took home the award for Excellence in Employee Engagement at the HR in Hospitality Awards 2022.

Recently featuring in the Boutique Hotelier Power List 2022, Katie has a true passion to continually innovate and push the boundaries and understands the importance of curating an excellent Belfry experience for clients and guests alike.

Kirsten Price, Head of The Belfry’s People Team has spent the last 12 months innovating, modernising and leading the way in which The Belfry operates and engages with its 800 strong team. From creating The Belfry Campus, an online platform allowing employees to access online learning courses and resources, to introducing The Belfry Heroes’ a central recognition scheme, Kirsten and the team have managed to reduce job vacancies by 80% and reduce staff turnover by 34%.  Testament to their success, The Belfry’s People team took home the Excellence in Employee Engagement award at the HR in Hospitality awards this month.

The Belfry team is hoping for further success next month at The Hotel Cateys award ceremony in London, where they’ve been shortlisted for Food and Beverage Manager of the Year, People Manager of the Year, People Team of the Year and Revenue Manager of the Year.
