The Belfry Hotel & Resort has been named Large Hotel of the Year at the West Midlands Tourism Awards 2022.

Shortlisted against three other regional hotels, the resort won the coveted gold award at a ceremony held on 31st March at Coombe Abbey in Coventry. The awards celebrate the innovation, spirit, and resilience of West Midlands tourism businesses in delivering a memorable welcome for the region’s visitors. The Belfry will now also go through to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, with a chance of taking home the national title of Large Hotel of the Year.

Commenting on The Belfry’s win, Chris Eigelaar, Resort Director, said “It is an honour to have won Large Hotel of the Year at the West Midlands Tourism Awards, and to be celebrated as the leading large hotel in the region.

“The Belfry team give their best every day and each and every one is crucial to delivering the excellent experience for which we’re renowned. I am extremely proud of our wonderful team who have ensured we have continued to offer our guests a fantastic experience in particularly challenging times.”

The award win again acknowledges The Belfry’s high-quality service and exceptionally high standard of facilities, which include its 300+ luxurious bedrooms and suites, several restaurants and bars including The Ryder Grill and Brabazon Bar, first-class events and meetings spaces, leisure club and The Belfry Spa. The hotel is also home to three golf courses, including The Brabazon which is set to host the Betfred British Masters in May 2022 – all surrounded by 550 acres of stunning North Warwickshire countryside.
