We have strong membership numbers and an incredibly loyal group of regulars who have created a real community spirit in the leisure club which makes working in Leisure feel like being part of one big family. If you are someone who enjoys working within the leisure environment, we have a variety of roles within the department, Leisure receptionist, Leisure housekeeper, membership sales and Fire and Ice host. The Belfry Spa is renowned for its famous 'fire and ice' experience, an extraordinary sensory journey that alternates between hot and cold therapies, leaving guests feeling refreshed and revitalised.

I started at the Belfry as the Assistant Manager Leisure 4 years ago, before moving to Sales Manager to then be promoted to Leisure Club Manager. I was really lucky to be mentored by the Hotel Manager as part of the LEAD development programme and also get a lot of support from our Resort Director who is really inspirational. I love that I am able to talk a lot with the senior team who are really approachable as you don’t get that in many other places.
I joined The Belfry 9 years ago in the Leisure team as a Fitness Professional and I am still in the same department because I love it. I have done lots of training courses while working here which has expanded my current role. One of the best parts of my job is training classes and growing my confidence doing them. My favourite thing about working at the Belfry is definitely the team. I have made lifelong friends.
