The Belfry Hotel & Resort’s iconic Ryder Grill took home the trophy for England’s Best Hotel Restaurant at the World Culinary Awards last month.  The Ryder Grill offers a variety of dining options including a la carte dining, buffet dining, Sunday Lunch and breakfast to guests and many regular local residents.

Voted for by culinary professionals, The Ryder Grill, The Belfry’s signature restaurant, was crowned the number one Hotel restaurant in England for its commitment to dining excellence.

Head Chef, Javier Dominguez Santos, is very proud of his Winter a la carte menu where dishes have been curated from the highest quality ingredients. Trained by the renowned Roux brothers, Javier creates incredibly diverse and exciting dishes, which are enjoyed by many guests, clients and VIPs.

Guests dining at The Ryder Grill can enjoy starters of Barbecued Tiger Prawns Pil-Pil, Slow cooked Oxtail Bon-Bon or a Twice Baked Cheese souffle. For the main course, diners can order from the Signature Robata Grill which serves Chargrilled Ribeye or Fillet Steak. The menu is then divided into dishes from the sea, land and the garden. The Treacle Glazed North Sea Cod, Parmesan Crusted Highland Venison Loin and then Roast Pumpkin and Blue Stilton Dartoise are all firm new favourites. 

To finish, enjoy the Milk Chocolate and praline Paris Brest with Sweet Chestnut and Star anise sauce or if there’s room, the Hot Chocolate Fondant with Ruby Port Poached Figs, and The Belfry Honey Semifreddo.
