Over the last week, The Belfry Hotel and Resort situated in North Warwickshire, has been taking part in Hospitality Action’s Back in Business Tour 2022, where together the team has been virtually cycling the 1,266-mile trip to Marco Simone in Rome home to the next Ryder Cup. The virtual cycle aims to help those working in hospitality who have suffered during the pandemic.

The Back in Business Tour is a virtual course which covers some of the most iconic hospitality venues and experiences on the planet. Team Belfry have been running, walking, cycling and swimming to clock up the miles, all whilst celebrating the joys that hospitality brings to their lives and showing the world that the sector is coming back stronger than ever. The team even achieved a return trip with a staggering 2,830 miles gained from the 150 employees who took part, raising a total of £3,400 for the charity.

Commenting on the Hospitality Action’s Back in Business Tour, Chris Eigelaar, Resort Director at The Belfry, said:  Hospitality Action is a charity close to our hearts and The Belfry is thrilled to have taken part in their Back in Business virtual tour. For two long years, our world was at a standstill and that’s why we’ve gone the extra mile this June. We’re proud to have raised a phenomenal £3,400 for Hospitality Action to help all those working within our industry whose lives were affected during the pandemic.”
