Work began this month on a multi-million pound project to expand and enhance the iconic Belfry Hotel & Resort. The ambitious project includes a stunning new build Ballroom, over 140 contemporary bedrooms in an adjacent building, a new state of the art Leisure Club and the renovation and enhancement of the Resort.

Situated in the heart of the country in North Warwickshire, it’s business as usual at the Resort with minimal disruption for guests throughout the work, which is due for completion early 2025.

“The commencement of work is a milestone moment for the entire team at The Belfry, after several years of planning and preparation”, said Chris Eigelaar, Resort Director. “The demolition of Bel Air nightclub marks the beginning of an exciting journey.  In its place will be a new 600+ capacity Ballroom and additional bedrooms, allowing us to cater for larger events with a brand new, high spec, high tech space.

“Despite the excitement of the new development, the Resort is open throughout the duration of works and robust planning means there’ll be minimal disruption for guests. I have no doubt that this development will cement The Belfry’s reputation as England’s leading Resort and I’m looking forward to announcing more exciting details in due course.”

In addition to the new build element of the project, the scope includes a top-to-toe renovation of the Resort, with extended car parking, which when complete will deliver a new and expanded experience for both business and leisure guests.
